I use Photoshop CC2018 on my Dell Inspiron13 5000 series notebook.Photoshop freezes while working on images. I don't even have option of Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

On Event Viewer, I see this error message :

TueColorALS  Initializing component ALSEventManager failed with error -2147023728

Any suggestion what I need to do to fix this issue?

Thanks for any help.

Try resetting the Photoshop preferences, which you can do under the General tab in Photoshop preferences

Is TrueColor software even necessary for Photoshop, or can I uninstall it and see if Photoshop still freezes?
