New LR starts with existing classic LR catalog. Want to start with an empty catalog. How?

Hello,

I am new to LR. Had a trial in the past which is now my problem.

When I start the new LR its create a new catalog with photos a have on an external HD.

I want to start with no catalog because i do not want to migrate this catalog to the cloud.

I tried deleting the catalog, reset the preferences.

Any idea how i can stop this. I do not have classic LR so i cannot setup a new and empty catalog.
