Editable section in an encrypted document?

How can I protect most of my document but allow an editable form that a reader can fill in?  I want the contents secure except for an application form that the reader must fill in and send back.  Should I just send a separate file with the application form, or can I have both?

You can have an encrypted form with fillable form fields. But forget the idea that the contents are "secure" - they aren't.

Thanks - I do know they aren't really secure, just harder for opportunistic plagiarists, still easy for hard-core plagiarists.  But I still don't know how to create an editable section. Maybe I'll just send a separate form.....
