I'm doing tech support for a friend who recently subscribed to the monthly CC plan for Lightroom 6, only to find out afterwards that none of his computers meet the minimum system requirements, simply because he refuses to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. But his computers do meet the minimum requirements to run Lightroom 5.7.1. Is there any way to convert the LR 6 CC plan to a serial number to activate the LR 5.7.1, or does he have to cancel his subscription? Any constructive answers would be appreciated.

As you may be aware Lightroom CC requires minimum Windows 10.
Have you tried using Lightroom Classic CC which runs on Win 7 SP 1? If your friend has run previous versions of Lightroom then Classic CC will be the version your friend is most familiar with.

Lightroom 6 / CC will run perfectly well on Windows 7 provided it has service pack 1.

There's Lightroom CC+1TB storage which is Lightroom CC only.
The other plans include Classic CC.
