I am using Photoshop CS5 V. 12.04 x 64. Using a Nikon D3X, I routinely open Raw files in CS5.  I was sent a Raw image to process that was taken on a Nikon 3300.  When I try to load the file in Photoshop, I get the following notification:

Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw.

Please visit the Camera Raw help documentation for additional information.

I looked around Raw  and could not find any Camera Raw help documentation.  I am working on a MacBook Pro mid 2015 running High Sierra.

You need Camera raw version 8.4 or higher for that camera. CS5 only went to 6.X. You will need to download the free dng converter.
