PC crashed and cannot get PS CS4 re activated

Can anyone offer assistance with re-activating a PS CS4 short of telling me to go buy a newer version?   My PC crashed and no way to deactivate the prior code.  I have my serial number, product code and activation code and of course Adobe quit servicing activation requests on products this old.   Stupid to buy a new one when this one was providing me all i needed in a product.

I have already tried all that.   My response when I try to activate my license says:

And of course i tried calling the phone number provided and they say they no longer support over the phone assistance with activation and to go to www.adobe.com/go/activation in which nothing there relates to the issue of "Activate later".
