Hi I have to make an animation in fireworks and I am working in seconds. I can't work out how many states are there in a second. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Go to the Optimize panel and select PNG32, and be sure Mat is set to no background color

Are you still having a problem with this? I've seen it happen before too. For me mostly on Save. Sometimes I use CTRl_S and save. Or just wait and come back. It seems like after I close a file there…

Select the text and look in the Property Inspector. There is a drop down for Anti-Alias. Try those settings. No-anti alias will have rough looking edges

Not sure how you are importing. Are you dragging before clicking to place? If so it works for me. Are you dragging after placed? If so you need to press the Shift key to constrain.
