downloadNetThing slow on Mac

Has anyone else experienced this? I've got the same code calling downloadNetThing on Mac and Windows and the downloads take much longer on the Mac.

Try:
_player.netThrottleTicks = 1

I just saw this on direct-l. It helps a lot on D12.
