Unable to install InDesign CS6 on one machine. I get the following error:
I have a very similar configuration on another machine (a MacBook Pro) which installed just fine. Running Lion, 10.7.3 on both. Tried installing after a safe boot, still not love.
What is Error: 5?

If you were a beta tester, there might remnants of previous installations on your computer. You should use the Adobe Cleaner tool which I heard yesterday now works with CS6 to remove any previous crud.
It most certainly does work. I needed it to clean up a Master Collection install.

Tried the Cleaner tool but no go, still the same error.
Photoshop CS6 and Acrobat X are fine.
All fixed. The URL referenced** was the key to the fix. It was the Adobe PCD folder in Application Support. Removing it (to desktop) and reinstalling InDesign fixed the error. Thanks for the help gang!
