          Please let us know:

          1. The OS you are currently working on.

          2. The Version of Adobe Reader currently installe don your system (Help > About Adobe Reader)

          3. Are you getting the error message while launching the PDF in the standalone application or in the browser?

If you are receiving the error while opening the PDF in a browser, please let me know the browser being used to render the PDF.

I  continue to have a similar problem when I try to view PDF from selected websites that have financial information that I need to receive.  This only happens in IE.  It does not happen when I am using Chrome.

I have the same issue and didn't see a solution here...

              HP dv7 with Windows7, chrome and IE9, Adobe Flash player11 ver.11.5.502.110, Adobe reader X ver.10.1.4

Error occurs most often on finanacial sites, however can sometimes "save target as" and then when file is downloaded to my machine I can easily open it.

The problem is that this option is not always available.

This is a critical flaw (and very frustrating).

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated ... Thanks!
