Where do you not see it, on the left side or right side?
If the Video folder is a shared one over Homegroup. It is possible that you have to go to c:/Users/Public/... instead of c:/users/yourusername
Worth the shot
I can't explain why it didn't appear but once I created a new folder, copied the content into it, deleted the old folder and then renamed the new folder it works fine. It must have been a permissions issue of some kind. Problem taken care of, if not entirely solved.
Our show has been having a similar problem.
The Media Browser can access our shared network volume, but the only folder at the root of the server that the Media Browser does not display is the folder where EVERYTHING for our show resides (media, projects, renders, caches, etc.)
Permiere can access media and everything else from that directory, but the Media Browser won't show it. This was never much of an issue before because we were shooting on RED and if you drag the first piece of a spanned clip into premiere from Windows Explorer, it recognizes that it's a spanned clip and plays all the media. This is not the case with Canon C300 footage, which apparently needs to be accessed via the Media Browser in order to retain the relationship between spanned clips.
I assume this Media Browser problem stems from permissions or something, but if anyone has any suggestions, that would be appreciated.
