How frustrating! Are you still having trouble? I can sign in, create and save to Mykuler, and access Mykuler separately. How long did this period last for?
My problem is precisely as base-line's. I'm usually fine until I try to save a kuler. That's when I get the "error communicating" message. I have a Macbook Pro Intel laptop running OS 10.5, and an older G5 iMac with the same 10.5 OS. Same problem on both machines.
I have successfully saved a few kulers. But 90% of the time, no go.
I do like Kuler though, and am looking forward to you folks at Adobe getting some of these kinks worked out.
