I'm using Indesign CS5.5 running on Winxp SP3 to produce a brochure which is around 90% finished. But I've run into a frustrating problem. In the most recent text frame, when I go to change the text color from black to a dark brown which I've done for about 10 other text frames with no problem, the text comes up as very thick and when I zoom in, the text is black in the middle with a dark brown surround. The text boxes contain Thai characters (I'm using ScribeDoor). I don't think ScribeDoor is the problem since all text frames except the last were OK.
I've probably changed some switch or value but I can't see where.
Any help would be most welcome
