I am using Acrobat X and have implemented the folowing code, which is called during save:
var service = SOAP.connect("http://localhost:15591/Service1.svc?singleWsdl");
var result = service.GetDateString();
var f = this.getField("TM_CurrentDateTime");
f.value = result;
I get the following:
NotAllowedError: Sicherheitseinstellungen verhindern den Zugriff auf diese Eigenschaft oder Methode.
SOAP.connect:4:Doc undefined:Will Save
Should this work in Acrobat X? What do I miss?
Should this work in Adobe Reader? Which versions?
SOAP calls work in Acrobat (Std and Pro) but won't work in Reader unless the document has Form Export rights applied (which has to be done via LiveCycle ES2, not via Acrobat).
Thankx a lot, Dave!
I will have a lock at LiveCycle ES2 for Reader.
But, I am using Acrobat X Pro and I do get the NotAllowedError here as well. What could be the issue with Acrobat X Pro?
