To troubleshoot, set the project setting in Encore to DVD for now. What is the "Transcode Setting" in the project panel?
Now, right click on the asset (the PR sequence), and select "Transcode Now."
What happens? do you get an error message or...
The same thing happened. About 2 minutes into the transcode it stopped and got a message that transcode failed.
Project settings: Codec: MPEG-2, Lower Field First, Audio transcoding scheme: Dolby Digital. Max audeo/video bitrate: 8.0 Mbps.
I did discover that the default transcode setting is a frame rate of 23.976 and my project is 29.97. I changed it but still no luck.
Instead of Dynamic Link, go to File>Export>Media... and choose one of the MOEG2-DVD presets. You can then bring the resulting .m2v and .wav files into Encore for authoring.
When I "send to Oncore" in Premiere CS6 the project transferrs but will nor Transcode. I've tried DVD Disk, BD disk, and both disk images. Nothing works. I have just edited an extensive project and need to get it published. I never had this happen with CS5.
If you need to finish your project just transcode out of Premiere and bring it into Encore. No Encore Transcoding needed.
This is actually my preferred method.
This failed also.
What exactly did you do, and what exactly was the result?
