Rob Sugar May 18, 2012 11:36 AM (in response to Jeff A Wright)I have been having more success. I guess it is just volume. It would be helpful if the downloader gave more info, like the download speed and time remaining. I was getting no error message, just the hang.
I was astonded to see updates already available for several of the apps. ID still crashes however and won't launch.

Rob Sugar May 18, 2012 3:17 PM (in response to Jeff A Wright)The support adbvisor doesnt flag anything wrong. I haven't had a problem with other CS6 apps yet (although I havent tried them all.) I suspect it might be Suitcase Fusion 4, which I recently installed. There are no activation plug-ins for 6 yet, but I don'y know where to start. It goes through almost the entire start up sequence and crashes after the late initializers...

Rob Sugar May 21, 2012 9:45 AM (in response to Jeff A Wright)InDesign and Illustrator. But I have narrowed it down to something in my user folder, because they open fine in a test account with admin privs. Any suggestions?
OK, another update...I eliminated the problem by deleting teh preferences in the user folder. Voila.
So, I guess this thread couls be dropped entirely.
