How to keep my purchased books?

First timer here. I'm wondering how to keep my purchased e-books, when I'm going to completely reinstall and clean my computer.
Does my account in here 'remember' my purchases, when i reinstall ADE after I've removed everything on my computer? or does it require some action on my part? Saving the ADE/e-book files or something?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, I just couldn't figure it out from the FAQs.

Facts about your ebooks are maintained in Digital Editions' files -

specifically the Manifest.xml file. That file should survive your efforts

if you back up the My Digital Editions folder - unless you decided to put

your ebooks somewhere else.
