I can not recall the minimum Flash Player that is required for Flash Catalyst. I suspect that your version of Flash Player is too low. Chrome auto-updates to the latest version, so that is why it works in Chrome.
Also, make sure you understand the differences between resizing and scaling. I wrote a blog post on this here: http://chrisgriffith.wordpress.com/2011/06/22/understanding-resizing-and-scaling-in-flash- catalyst/
Thanks Chris but I am not able to fix the problem. When I try to update my flash player it says that I have the latest version and cannot update. My Chrome has Flash Player 11 but my Flash Player is Adobe Flash Player 10. Is this the latest version? Sorry if it's a silly question but I don't know how to get my Flash Player to a higher version.
I tried publishing a project from FC cs5 and that works just fine. The swf generated from cs5 works fine but not the swf from cs5.5. So it's very likely to be a Flash Player issue but how can I get it to work?
Also, if I create my project in FC cs5 I won't have the scaling option. I need my project to scale according to the browser window.
Phew! Now I got the swf to open! Yaay! Thanks.
But it doesn't scale. I checked the Resize option in FC 5.5 but it does not scale.
