    Export FCPXML, effects not translated

    JeffW. Level 1

      hi,

      when I export a project in Premiere CS6 that has effects as fcpxml, it generates this FCP Translation Results text file

      telling me that the effect was not translated, or when it doesn't, the effect

      values are set to default in the xml like the following node for a gaussian blur effect:

                                             <filter>

                                              <effect>

                                                  <name>Gaussian Blur</name>

                                                  <effectid>Gaussian Blur</effectid>

                                                  <effectcategory>Blur</effectcategory>

                                                  <effecttype>motion</effecttype>

                                                  <mediatype>video</mediatype>

                                                  <parameter authoringApp="PremierePro">

                                                      <parameterid>radius</parameterid>

                                                      <name>Radius</name>

                                                      <valuemin>0</valuemin>

                                                      <valuemax>100</valuemax>

                                                      <value>0</value>

                                                  </parameter>

                                              </effect>

                                          </filter>

      Can Premiere CS6 export xml including effects? Is there an overview of what is possible?

      And how does this work for transitions (which I haven't tried out yet)?

      I haven't tried  this in older PPro versions btw.

      Thanks!

      Jeff.
