This is actually not a bug, Adobe has disabled all keyboard input in fullscreen mode, they call it a security issue.
The only key commands available in fullscreen are the ones that let you exit fullscreen.
I know, I couldn't believe it either.
Well that kinda renders full screen mode useless....
But it's not like you would ever make a flash game where you would use the arrow keys to move around and have it go fullscreen.
Or would you???!!!
Or in my case a system of clicking on a chart object to drill into the data-set and ctrl-click to drill out. Meh.
You could then pass the input to flash player via the ExternalInterface.
It's a long shot!
I have been thinking about this myself because I have an app with tons of stuff on the screen and it would really help to be able to just type in fullscreen mode.
hmmm, what if there is an AS2.0 swf in the app somewhere, I know they don't really play by the rules when inside of an AS3.0 swf, there might be something that can be used there.
