Noel Carboni May 24, 2012 1:57 AM (in response to KateMorgan)The panels seem to need to be docked to auto-hide.
Have you tried resetting to one of the pre-fab workspaces, for example the Essentials workspace, which sports auto-hiding panels?

KateMorgan May 25, 2012 7:00 PM (in response to R_Kelly)The side panels that pop out to the side,( when using the adjustment panelsthey pop out when in use and pop back when I click he main board). Those work. I was under the impression that the panels that hold the "layers, etc" the ones that are on the far right as shown above, would disappear as well. Plus the tool bar on the far right when auto hide os on. Am I mistaken? I saw this happen when viewing a tut online and thought that was such a great idea... if I could get it to work. ;-)

R_Kelly May 25, 2012 7:19 PM (in response to KateMorgan)Your probably thinking about the preference that says Auto Show Hidden Panels.
If that preference is checked, then for example if you go to Fullscreen Mode (hit the F key twice)
the panels are hidden by default. Then if you hover you mouse close to the right or left side of the screen, the panels appear
and then moving the mouse away makes the panels hidden again.
You can do the same thing in the Standard Screen Mode by using the Tab key to hide the panels.
