CS6 was not tested with and is not supported under Vista and why would use 32 bit version with 8 gigs of RAM?
It is strange that CS6 supports Windows XP and Windows7 and Vista does not support. I use 8GB RAM because I bought a laptop so. There for me any solution, how to enable CS6 InDesign with the 32 bit system Windows Vista?
You should be able to use InDesign 8 (=CS6) with Windows Vista (either 32-bit or 64-bit) without any problems. Installation onto such systems is not disabled by the installer.
What is true is that Adobe did not test the product on any Vista-based computers although we believe it should work fine. (The decision not to put any resources into testing under Vista was predicated on the exceptionally small percentage of professional users who moved to Vista and who didn't subsequently move to the much more stable Windows 7 when it became available!)
