Adobe Drive 4 is designed to work with the supported CS6 applications and the Drive 4 SDK will be made available by the end of this week. Drive 3.x is not supported with CS5.x applications. The Drive 3 SDK will also still be available from the Adobe Drive Developer Center.
So drive 4 will work with cs5.x?
In addition, here are the Drive 4 related deployment change requirements for partner connectors:
Old location: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/plugins
New location: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AD4ServiceManager/plugins
Old location: C:\Program files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CS5ServiceManager\plugins
New location: C:\Program files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AD4ServiceManager\plugins
Old location: C:\Program files\Common Files\Adobe\CS5ServiceManager\plugins
New location: C:\Program files\Common Files\Adobe\AD4ServiceManager\plugins
No, Drive 4 is not designed to work with CS5.x.
I think the SDK is missing. This download only has the documentation.
I downloaded Drive 4 SDK at 6pm EST. 3.9mb
These are the folders I see inside.
no libs, tools or samples
This issue has now been resolved.
