    Textbox wrap help

    visionamic651

      very basic indesign question...

I'm doing my first magazine layout and I'm new to indesign. For each page I design the background in photshop, then I place it in indesign.

In indesign I create the textbox for the article. I then want to add a textbox on top for the captions

and I want the text to wrap around the other captioned tex so I select the wrap option. But for some reason the textbox then disappears behind the photoshop place even though it is behind it.

Any idea where I'm going wrong? How do I ensure that the textbox wraps around other text boxes or images, but writes over the psp file?

      thanks!

You apply the wrap top the frame that has the content you want to wrap around, so in this case it sounds like you want to apply it to the text frame that contains your caption, and the article tyext will then wrap around the caption.
