It is version 10.0.3
One note - upon installing it a notice came up indicating the removal of the previous version that was installed with CS 5.5.
Cheers,

You mean while installing update you receive this notice ? Have you ran cleaner scripts prior installing CS 6 ? One more thing was CS 5.5 also installed on this machine ?

The answer to you last question - Yes CS 5.5 was and is still installed.
Regarding the notice I think it was a flag within the intallation window of CS 6 suite. Also, another notice came up during the installation, but I'm not sure now that I think more about this. Frankly, I didn't pay close attention as it was simply a notice and not a warning. What is definite is the notice indicating the installed Acrobat X Pro will be uninstalled and replaced with a new one.
I did not run a " cleaner scripts" prior to installing CS 6, in fact this is the first time I heard of this...?

Today I did run "CScleanertool" to remove any remnants of CS5.5 after uninstalling same.
This was done to get Flash Builder 4.6 installed. See my comments on that forum.
One problem with Acrobat, even though I used CS6's "setup.exe" to install Acrobat over the existing one it was removed during the above process.
After reinstalling it now is asking for a serial number, with a notice that it is a "Master Collection Trial". As well that the trial will expire in 32767 days! Said message is not displayed with any of the other modules.
This is disturbing as I plan to load some (not all) on one of my laptops and I do not want to loose the ability to do so.
Any suggestions?
BTW, the problem noted above regarding opening more than one file at a time still persists.
Cheers,
Michael

Dpakch Jun 10, 2012 1:17 PM (in response to mikeklar)I am not sure, why you see this error message. The only resolution which comes to my mind is to remove all the CS version from your machine manually. Including the Adobe folder under Program Files and Common Files.Clean the Registry Entry also.
Please set system restore point first.

It may just be something left over in the registry.
If I cancell it and click "Yes" on the "Quit" window Acrobat stays loaded.
The only remaining issue being that only one file can be loaded at a time. If a second file is opened at the same time as another is open Acrobat crashes.
The problem I'm having with your suggestion to remove all CS versions, which I'm assuming includes CS6, is that all the other modules are now working fine, something that was not the case after the initial install.
So, would you please look into a way that would not require a complete uninstall of CS6? However, should that be the only solution, I will of course do it.
Cheers,
Michael
