1. Re: Cloud update seen as virus by Norton
isf-sh :: dave talamona May 28, 2012 7:11 AM (in response to bobba1)same problem but with three files:
- mc_config_mp2v.dll
- mc_enc_mpa.dll
- mc_config_avc.dll
not shure if it really is a virus (norton 360 reported "Suspicious.Cloud.7.F") or just a code-part that seems similar to the mentoined virus.

john4243 May 28, 2012 8:38 AM (in response to bobba1)I had the same result with the Prelude update this morning. Norton Internet Security (v19.7.1.5) reported 'suspicious.cloud.7.f' for mc_config_avc.dll based on 'malware heuristics'.
The file is currently quarantined by Norton.

isf-sh :: dave talamona May 28, 2012 8:44 PM (in response to bobba1)the message of an adobe employee (see http://forums.adobe.com/message/4441762#4441815) indicates that this really isn't a virus and norton mistakenly detected one. i think i make a system backup and then release the files out of the norton quarantine to see if my system gets infected.

opukstad May 29, 2012 11:17 AM (in response to isf-sh :: dave talamona)No offence, but some Adobe employee saying that it's fine, doesn't cut it for me.. Symantec and Adobe need to work this out.
