How do I delete a returned library ebook

When I return a library ebook it disappears from the book shelf. However the ebook still exists in the folder 'My Digital Editions'. Is there a way to delete this book from within ADE?

Yes, but it's not necessary. Its internal identification data shows that

it has been returned, and you can't open it again.

If you simply MUST remove it, you can use your computer's utility programs

to edit the manifest.xml file to delete the entry for the ebook, and then

delete it. You'll free up 'some' space - usually less than 200Mb for an

average ebook.
