Benefits of high end NVIDIA gaming graphics card

Hi! I am having the following configuration :

      1)     Intel Core i5 3550

      2)      16GB RAM

      3)     320 GB 7200 RPM hard disk (non RAID mode)

      4)     AMD Radeon 4850 1GB graphics card

      5)     Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

      6)     Premier Pro 5.5

I am looking through the benefits of the mercury playback and am considering of getting a NVIDIA high end graphics card. Mostly, I dont do much video effects but I am concerned  about the quality of the video.

So far, I have been using the CPU for export to 1920x1080 x.264 and 29fps (32 bit colours display settings) and I also do some slight video editing .   My question is whether getting a new high end gaming NVIDIA graphics card such as the 2GB NVIDIA GTX 670, GTX 570 or GTX 470 compared to the CPU would enhance the quality of the image including details, sharpness, better colour range? Could I be losing some details using the CPU for exporting/rendering?
