    CS5.5 crashing when attempting to open a file.

      When I try to open some files on my site within Dreamweaver, the program crashes with Microsoft Error code 1000.

      I cannot work out any commonality between the files that it crashes on.

      I have deleted the wincachefile and rebuilt the cash.

      Other files load and run in live view.

      This happened about 8 times in the last  hour

      The error report in Windows 7 64 bit is as follows in all cases:

      Can anyone suggest a fix?

          What is the filename of the file that causes the crash.  Does this file ALWAYS crash DW?  Have you tried this file in earlier versions?  Do other files also crash DW for you?

            It only happened with php files, and with lots of them. Having now restarted the computer, the server and the program I cannot get it to re-produce the problem.

            However, all my session variables have now disappeared from the database bindings panel, so perhaps this was involved?

            It has been happening for the last few weeks, but only today did it cause me such bother that I placed this post.

            Since it started happening around 24th March, I have had over 60 crashes which may be to do with related files, as some of my pages have up to 12 of these, and DW often has problems locating them.

            When it come up again, which I am sure that it will do, I will take particular note and add to the post.
