flash Player download problems

I get a close internet explorer and retry message everytime I try and download the flash player

What is your Windows version & edition?

What is your Internet Explorer version?

Download the appropriate offline installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#install_in_a_... and save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.
