Can you check for the error on event viewer and let us know.
What's the driver version of your graphics card?
>All drivers are up to date
Do not count on Windows Update for the nVidia driver... you need to go directly to the nVidia site and find the driver yourself
There's no error in event viewer for anything related to adobe, trust me, I checked thoroughly, and yes... I haven't trusted windows update for anything for as long as I can remember, so I have the latest drivers: 301.42
if program is crashing, it should make an error event .
Is the issue happening right from the first launch after install:?
try to use Premiere after trashing preferences.
Go to users/appdata/roaming/adobe/premierepro/ , delete 6.0 folder.
Launch premiere again and check ,
No error, no event log, deleting the 6.0 folder didn't make a difference.
Have you tried any other programs in the suite?
Have you tried a reinstall yet?
Did you update Premiere pro to the latest patch?
Instead of selecting project settings, just open a new project, cancel "new sequence" dialogue box and check if UI loads or not.
Latest patch is installed, tried a re-install... Still a no go.
Vipul, I tried doing what your recommended, closing out of the new sequence box, and the program still crashed. It seems to crash just as it's loading the preview screen in the top right-hand corner of the UI.
Once again, no event log was generated, and no error popup either. D-:
Oh, almost forgot to mention, all the other programs in the suite work fine.. Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator..
Anyone with anything? Or anyone have a similar issues?
Still no effect with any troubleshooting steps....
Can you check the behaviour on a new user account ?
Also, check if you have latest quicktime installed.
you can also check the issue on a selective startup mode to isolate if there's conflict with any other applications.
It's all fixed now, the latest patch from Adobe has got it working!
