First, are you trying to download - and install - Digital Editions on your

computer?

Next, what kind of computer and operating system do you have: a Windows PC

with Windows 7? A Mac with Snow Leopard or Lion OS?

Third, are you're trying to download an ebook and are getting error

messages like 'no permission...'?
