building classes and methods using OOP

    hilukasz Level 1

trying to build a simple library in OOP, and it worked for another method I was doing, it would check if a symbol is inside of a square. however when i am checking to see if a shape is inside a shape (rectangle inside a rectangle) it keeps telling me that "currentLayer.isIn is not a function" I am totally lost because it definitely is a method of the class. any ideas?

there is a screen shot of my layers layout, I can access all the sublayers height and width fine, so it is accessing the pageItems beneath the Layer.
