mytaxsite.co.uk Jun 5, 2012 5:38 PM (in response to tercüme)What adobe product we use generally for creating a PDF file, Is it as easy as microsoft word? Please do not laugh at me, I need to learn it:)
For Adobe products, you have altready got the answers but if you want something "as easy as Microsoft Word" then clearly Microsoft Word is the product itself that allows you to "Save As" pdf files depending on which version of Office you are using. For Office 2007 and Office 2010, you can save as all your document as pdf files. For Office 2007 you need to download Microsoft's own Add-On but for Office 2010, you need absolutely nothing!!!
I am not allowed to give you the links here so please conduct your own research if you want further info.
Good luck.

Claudio González Jun 5, 2012 7:42 PM (in response to mytaxsite.co.uk)To the best of my knowledge, no one forbids/prevents one to post links to non-Adobe products, unless one is doing self-promotion. Many examples to the contrary around...

Dave Merchant Jun 6, 2012 1:39 AM (in response to tercüme)It's important to understand what a PDF file is. You don't create a PDF file in the same way you would create a Word file, it's not an editable format. You create your document in whatever software you normally use (Word, Excel, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) then export a PDF, just as if you were printing a copy on paper. If you need to make changes, you do them to the original document and export another PDF.
Acrobat will install plugins for Office, and the Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Framemaker, etc.) will export PDFs even if Acrobat isn't installed, but most of the time users won't actually work "in" Acrobat except to do things with forms or advanced security. You can't open Acrobat and start typing a letter as you can in Word.
Word does indeed already have a Save As feature, but it's very limited in terms of the content of the PDFs and the options for optimizing, securing and making it accessible.
