Hi all,
I have a timeline in Encore for which I added a subtitle track directly into it by typing and syncing within Encore. I can author this to a DVD without problems. But my project is also going to be available on a couple of other formats, so I would like to be able to export this subtitle track into a .srt file. Is this possible? I can only seem to export it to a .txt file with a very basic format, but most players don't read this.
This is Encore CS5.1 It doesn't seem to be possible from Encore, but maybe there is a third-party software that can do this?
Thanks!
PS: they are not very long, so if you think the best idea is to write them again in other software (I hear subsitle workshop is quite nice), then I'll go with that. But before I want to know if I can already use my .txt from Encore.
You can only export subtitles from Encore as txt files. Subtitle Workshop is the only one I recall being mentioned often. Is it not possible to import the .txt there?
