1. Re: Is it possible to use TOC auto-sync in AIR help?
Peter Grainge Jun 7, 2012 1:51 AM (in response to TA Andy)There is no Auto Sync option to turn on and off. It should just happen automatically. Try one of the supplied sample projects.

TA Andy Jun 7, 2012 7:47 AM (in response to Peter Grainge)Hi Peter,
Many thanks for replyling - I don't know how you find the time.
Probably a stupid question - where do I get the sample projects from?
Cheers,
Andy

4. Re: Is it possible to use TOC auto-sync in AIR help?
TA Andy Jun 7, 2012 8:48 AM (in response to Peter Grainge)Hi Peter,
Thanks for that.
I wonder if there is something amiss with my installation then.
I get the same issue with one of the sample projects:
In this screenshot - I have followed a link to "Greetings Suggestions" but you can see that the TOC highlight remains on "Using the Voice Mail System".
FYI this does not happen in the compiled version.
I was hoping to move to browser AIR help from Webhelp due to the Chrome issue, but I think I may have to try and go down the compiled AIR route as this is all looking too problematic.

5. Re: Is it possible to use TOC auto-sync in AIR help?
Peter Grainge Jun 7, 2012 9:28 AM (in response to TA Andy)I get the same with that project but if you look at http://www.grainge.org/demos/bbair you will see synchronisation is working there. That was created with RoboHelp 9 however.
What Chrome issue, there is more than one depending on RoboHelp version? There is information on my site about that. See Items 2 and 3 at http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm#browsers
The first question though in deciding on your output is where is the help to be located? That drives your options.

6. Re: Is it possible to use TOC auto-sync in AIR help?
TA Andy Jun 8, 2012 1:50 AM (in response to Peter Grainge)Hi Peter,
Many thanks again.
I think you have pretty much answered many of my issues here.
RE Chrome issue, I'll post in your "AIR Help / CHMs and WebHelp Discussion".
Cheers,
Andy
