MichaelKazlow Jun 8, 2012 8:05 AM (in response to theoreuvers12345)You may be able to use a keyboard macro program to intercept the keyboard shortcuts and set them to do nothing, but why would you want to remove keyboard shortcuts. They are intended to make your life easier. No one says you have to use them.

I am sorry if this sounds harsh, but this is a very arrogant reply. We all have different ways of doing the same task. It helps to have a unified way of working within a number of applications. The shortcut that Adobe uses for Acrobat might not be easy to remember given the shortcut we use within another program. I don't want to have to say, "Oh, yeah. I am in Acrobat now. I have to remember that cmd-shift-q is for strikethrough." Oh, I forgot. There isn't a shortcut for strikethrough unless I first enable Text Correction Markup for each document I am working on.
Sorry about the rant. And posting on an old post.
