Yes- point taken, but it did not cure the problem last time and that is not the issue now either... Thanks any way...
Sorry, did not see you were the person posting to the thread I refered you to.
It is not a good idea to repost the question as responders can not see what has been tried before. Kind of like explaining the whole problem over again.
So best to bump your thread with a note that the suggestions so far have not worked, and asking for additonal ideas.
You must have something set up wrong, it is just a problem of figuring out what.
Maybe the next guy will come up with it.
After going to such extremes to fix it, and it happened again, there has to be a common denominator, and as both LR4 and ACR7.1 are problematic, it could well be the RAW files.
Could the CR2 files be corrupted, or perhaps their sidecar files are corrupted. It could be that either the CR3 or sidecar files were corrupted because of your original problem.
Start with some freshly taken RAW files, and perhaps delete the sidecare files from the folders with the problem files in. Upload a problem cr2 file to a file sharing site, and ask one of us to take a look. Find a buddy with LR4 or ACR7.1 and try the files on his computer.
