>update the driver
HOW did you update the driver?
Did you go directly to the (ATI or nVidia or ???) vendor site and search for your card?
Do NOT let Windows Update do this for you... it is very often wrong about driver versions
Yes I updated my driver on Sony vaio website.
I have an ATI 6630M and on the ATI-AMD website I don't find the update.
For Sony Vaio computer refer at sony vaio website.
I download and install the update from sony vaio website but no change.
This is the driver on sony support:
- Graphics Driver (AMD) - 8.850.5.3000_220.127.116.116 64 bits 282.76 Mb 20/10/2011
My laptop is SONY VAIO VPCCBS1E
Thank you for help me.
I don't use a laptop, but did write down some notes from past discussions
For effective HD video editing, a laptop with the following
-at least the Intel sandy bridge 2720 or 2820 quad processor
-and nvidia graphics preferably the 460m, 485m is a bit much
-1280x900 display with OpenGL 2.0-compatible graphics card
-and 8 or 16 gig ram and Win7 64bit Pro
-and 2 internal 7200 HDDs minimum
Does yours have the type of display I bolded?
