Two stages to this.
Your initial set up for your editing sequence should match your source footage.
Your preferences for that can also be saved as a Custom Setting.
From that you can export to whatever you wish..( in your case the custom YT .264 Preset would be a good start pont).
This can also be saved as a Custom export preset.
Hey thanks for the quick reply.
Actually, I don't have any source footage yet. Most of it will be still photos with some video from a stock house of which I will look for something that is at the size I'm after. So I guess that means my editing sequence will need to be 1280 X 720 @ 29.97fps. I suppose if the stock footage is only available at 30fps when I import it my project will ask if I want to adjust to the import settings. Do I just ignore the New Seqence preset window. Sorry I'm a neophyte at PR.
You mention I can export this setup. I'm assuming there is an export preset dialog somewhere that will ask me what to call it? yes? Or will it give me options like "YT .264"?
Also, what does the YT stand for? I've seen the .264.
Please NOTE that the PPro CS6 screen may look a bit different
For CS5 and later, the easy way to insure that your video and your project match

YT = Youtube
Export = the final output from your edit sequence.
