Incidentally, did you download the CS6 beta from the official Adobe site?
Perhaps my post was not clear enough.
There is no entry in Program & Features in my Windows 7. If there were, I would not have asked what must have seemed to you to be a dumb repetitive question.
I had already investigated that post and others prior to posting.
