my apps developed with flash cs5.5 and air3.2 do not work on ipad3 after upgrading to ios6.
any solution from adobe?
surely "ios6 Beta" does not support 3.2 air
Download AIR 2 SDK then go to Help -> manage AIR SDK and add this
Thank you, but at this point I wonder if AIR 3.2 will be compatible with the final iOS 6.
- i'm still using cs5.5, but now have air3.3 overlayed
- i changed the render mode in the app.xml file to "direct" instead of "gpu" and republished
the app seems to display the graphics and dynamic text ok, but the stageVideos are not showing up.
suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks...
today i used cs6.0 with air3.3 and "direct" render mode... stageVideos seem to be working.
have not tried to go back to "gpu" to test that render mode since it's apparently better to be using "direct" anyway
Please let us know some more details:
- Is the app using AIR Native extension feature?
- Provide the app and if possible the exact steps where the error is occurring.

Same problem here. I let the app render by the GPU, that didn't work anymore (it worked flawlessly in os5). It now works by setting it to AUTOMATIC or DIRECT. But now all animations are realy slow. That's not workable.
Hope this will be fixed soon, My trial for CS 6 is expiring in 6 days or so... Don't know if i'm going to buy now.
This morning I updated the Air SDK to 3.4 and my problem was solved. Everything works now as expected.
Maybe it is a good idea to ship the CS6 version with the latest SDK, or tell people to update.
