I am trying to set up video streaming for a conference being put on by a non-profit organization, so money is tight. I'm using Amazon Web Services for the streaming server, and FMLE for the encoder (unless there's a better program out there that's free or cheap). I've tried using UScreenCapture (it keeps telling me the framerate or input size are invalid) and VHScrCap (it follows my mouse around and I can't see how to have it just lock on a window or monitor).
What is the best (cheap) way to do this? The streaming will primarily be Powerpoint presentation with audio that I'll be capturing through the sound card. I may also have a camera or 2, but the Powerpoints are the most important part.
i figured out vhscrcap, but ended up going with xsplit.
