Surprised: Ps 13 on MacBook with 2 ext. monitors
For whatever general interest this may have:
Photoshop 13 (CS6) is performing better than I would have ever expected on a MacBook (not "Pro") in clamshell mode, driving two external, side by side 22" monitors each with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 @ 85 Hz.
When run in normal mode rather than clamshell mode, the desktop spans three monitors, the two external one plus the MacBook's own built-in screen. (Screen shot at the bottom of this post.)
4 GB of RAM, 160 GB dedicated FW scratch disk drive.
The main monitor is being driven by the MacBook's external monitor port, the secondary monitor by a USB to DVI/HDMI/VGA adapter/display card.
