I'm not quite understanding the issue. What are you applying Opacity changes to, the clip or the AL?
I apply the opacity settings on AL. And that makes disappear the effects of the layer (AL)
File a bug report, i can reproduce your problem.
As soon as you add and tweak opacity keyframes to the Adjustment Layer the effect disappears even when keyframes are set to 100%. When removing the keyframes effect is back.
i can reproduce your problem.
I can't. Opacity on ALs works just fine here.
I can reproduce it here - only it's not just opacity - it's any keyframes at all on an Adjustment Layer. Whether to the effects applied to it or to the motion/opacity controls. One keyframe and it basically becomes null and void. Once keyframes are removed, it goes back to affecting the layers below it.
I have the same issue, Trying to modify the opacity on the adjustment layer doesnt have any effect. And im on premiere CC. Just spoke to support and he could reproduce the issue so it is a bug, And adjustment layer in general is working poorly for me.
Still works fine here, even on CC.
Do you have hardware acceleration on?
Yeah I'm using CUDA, Why would one use software rendering or am I missing something..? One more thing I just noticed is that I cant render when im using adjustment layer with my mts files (Sony fs700) I get *error compiling movie*
So.. so far I cant use Adjustment layer in general. (atleast not with hardware acceleration)
Cant use opacity keyframes and cant export at the moment. I have to delete the adjustment layer in order to be able to export my project.
Ok, here is the info:
*updates are installed as far as I know..
*Windows 8 pro
*Video files: MTS files (sony fs700)
*Error message when exporting: "Error compiling movie. Uknown error"
The culprit from my point of view is the adjustment layer. As soon as I remove it from the timeline it seems to work..
I think it has been working in the past..
No other software is running in the background of notice as far as I am concerned...
I have third party codecs installed but none of them where used here. I used fast collorcorrection and procamp on the adjustmentlayer.
intel i7 3930K
nvidia 680 GTX 4GB
samsung 840 pro ssd
Im using mercury playback engine GPU accelerator
this only happends when doing final export as far as I know. I can play the clip in the timeline even if the effects on adjustmentlayer isnt working properly when using opacity keyframes.
OK, try a short test. Remove all the effects, but leave the Adjustment Layer in place. Still fail on export?
Sorry for the delay, I recieved an update for my gpu drivers from nvidia and it seems as it is currently working.. I know the assistent I was chatting with, on Adobe's chat support could recreate the issue I had so I dont know if it was specific for some nvidia users..
Ill keep you posted
Thanks for the help
There have been issues with the 320 driver. I'm using an older 314 without any problems.
