    Incompatible display driver in Premiere Elements 9


      I purchased a new computer six months ago, a Toshiba Satellite C660-1LD, and installed Premiere Elements 9 on it almost immediately. However, for six months, I have been unable to work out how to even start a new project, and only now do I have the time to seek help.


      Whenever I click 'new project' I get a pop-up telling me that the display driver on my laptop is incompatible with PE9, and I should update it. I have done so several times, through both the Toshiba website and the Intel one. I have Intel HD Graphics (Core i3), version, and I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.


      No matter what update I make to the display driver, it makes no difference to PE9, which continues to display the same error message.


      Thanks for any help in fixing this problem.
