1. Re: Issue with Audio Playback and Uninterrupted Playback in MPE (Hardware Mode)
Harm Millaard Jun 16, 2012 9:09 AM (in response to Chathuranga Lasiru)Two possible suspects:
1. Alesis Firewire Audio io26
2. Blackmagic Studio Card

Chathuranga Lasiru Jun 16, 2012 9:15 PM (in response to Harm Millaard)Thanks Harm for your quick reply,
But I have a question Blackmagic cards "are" compatible with CS6 right because they recently release the drivers for CS6 and I've been using this setup in CS5.5 without no problems. I mean, I didin't get anything wrong at all but I'll try taking these two off and trying again.
Thanks.

3. Re: Issue with Audio Playback and Uninterrupted Playback in MPE (Hardware Mode)
JSS1138 Jun 16, 2012 9:19 PM (in response to Chathuranga Lasiru)I suspect it might be more related to a bug in CS6 dealing with the Canon files.

4. Re: Issue with Audio Playback and Uninterrupted Playback in MPE (Hardware Mode)
Chathuranga Lasiru Jun 16, 2012 9:36 PM (in response to JSS1138)Yeah, I think so too. I removed my Alesis firewire and my Blackmagic Decklink Studio from my system and the problem still continues to occour. Hope adobe will fix this soon because I know a bunch of people with Canon XFs suffering with this problem.

5. Re: Issue with Audio Playback and Uninterrupted Playback in MPE (Hardware Mode)
Harm Millaard Jun 17, 2012 12:36 AM (in response to Chathuranga Lasiru)I have the same camera as you have, the XF300 and also use 50Mb/s format and I have never experienced any problems with the footage in CS6 as you describe. But the distinguishing differences are that I do not have a BM card and I use on-board sound.

6. Re: Issue with Audio Playback and Uninterrupted Playback in MPE (Hardware Mode)
Chathuranga Lasiru Jun 17, 2012 1:15 AM (in response to Harm Millaard)I tried editing without the Alesis and the Blackmagic card but the problem still keeps on coming. I even tried re-installing windows. But no luck. And the uninterrupted playback thing works fine without the MPE Hardware accelaration. Any Ideas?

9. Re: Issue with Audio Playback and Uninterrupted Playback in MPE (Hardware Mode)
Harm Millaard Jun 17, 2012 3:12 AM (in response to Chathuranga Lasiru)I'm stumped. The drivers are up-to-date. I suggest you file a bug report and attach the project file or make it available for download by Adobe.

10. Re: Issue with Audio Playback and Uninterrupted Playback in MPE (Hardware Mode)
Chathuranga Lasiru Jun 17, 2012 3:51 AM (in response to Harm Millaard)How do I do that? And just the project file would be enough?
And I found another person with the same "Audio" problem as mine but his workaround isn't working for me.

I guess you can get a better picture about the problem from that post.
Thanks Harm for your helpfulness.
