Moving to Photoshop Section.
Kodak stopped supporting Photoshop several years ago, and Photoshop depended on Kocak code for support -- so Photoshop had to drop Photo CD.
I think that was back around Photoshop CS or so.
IIRC, the PCD plug-in was still in the Goodies/Extras folder on the installation disc (last disc?), as of CS2. I installed it, and think that it came with PS CS2, as I do not recall ever downloading it from any other source.
Again, and from a feeble memory, there WAS a PCD plug-in, that could be downloaded from a 3rd party site (Kodak?), and it worked in some later versions of PS, but it seems that at some point in the release cycles of PS, it ceased to work. Think that was perhaps CS3?
This is a link to the Kodak PCD plug-in, but again, it seems that at some point, that would no longer work with later versions of PS.
There was also a fairly recent thread on the PCD plug-in (not sure if it was thise one), that DID work in more recent versions of PS. I made note of it, as I had planned on keeping an older version of PS w/ that plug-in, just for old PCD discs. Will post link, if I can find that.
Good luck to the OP,
