Hello all – I have a problem with opening Acrobat X Pro: when I click on the icon (on the desktop or try run it directly) it just gives me an hour glass and then nothing. Same thing if I try to open a PDF file. I have tried the repair option in the add/remove software panel. I have disabled antivirus software (NOD32) to no avail.
If I go into the windows explorer and right click and use the open with Chrome (my default browser) it will OPEN the PDF. OS is XP Pro.
What OS. Were you the administrator when the installation was done? Was anti-virus turned off for the install?
OS is Windows XP Pro.
I am always logged on as admin.
The anti-virus was not disabled during installation.
This has been a stable box with no issues since CS3. I have had Acrobat X Pro since it was released and had never had any issues with it.
