I am running into a unique problem. nativeProcess is not working even with extendedDesktop profile when using AIR app installer in linux.
I am using AIR SDK 2.6 (Ubuntu compatible). I am using a mac to build the application .AIR file with extendedDesktop (and desktop) support. The application works fine on the Mac. I then port the .AIR file to Ubuntu and use the AIR application installer to install the .AIR file. The application installs fine and when it runs, it throws an error that "nativeProcess is not supported". What am I missing? Does .AIR file not include nativeProcess support? If so, what is my alternative, can I use "adt" somehow to get it packaged to include nativeProcess support in Linux?
Ok, figured it out.
Since the .AIR was pre-signed on my mac, I can simply use
adt -package -target native myApp.deb myApp.air
and compile it for Ubuntu. I need not go through the AIR application installer.
